A Path to Quick and Reliable

It happens to all of us eventually. A client makes a request of you, way late or even after the game, that forces you to do things out of sequence and, therefore, inefficiently; sometimes very inefficiently. You have a choice, deal with it and get it done or make an issue out of it and look like a whiner. First off, protocol discussions are almost never appropriate in the heat of battle. Your job as an orchestrator, copyist, proofreader, or you-have-it is to get the job done. Period, If there is a worse time for making your corrective ideas heard than after the shootin’s over (when everyone has mentally moved on to the next thing), it’s while the bullets are still flying and the only thought on the client’s mind is getting out with his posterior intact.
